Obama meets with Edwards secretly

Without initially telling the press, Obama traveled to North Carolina to meet with John Edwards, apparently seeking the former Senator’s endorsement. While Hillary Clinton has been courting the couple, sources privy to the Edwards’ thoughts say that “Obama has been less attentive…the Edwardses have been annoyed that Obama has continued to ridicule him for once saying his biggest weakness is that he has a powerful response to seeing pain in others.”
