The End of the Road For Hillary Clinton

As Ali G would say, “IZ YOU MENTAL?”  Hillary Clinton, you have fought a valiant fight, but the odds have been mathematically against you for months, and now the door to the White House has virtually closed shut. However, there seems to be clear evidence that Hillary and her supporters are delusional and are now going through the 5 stages of grief.  First, denial: Her crowds are still chanting “Yes We Will!,” and she she still claims to be on the charge to the White House.  For months, she has denied the prospect of not being the Democratic nominee when all signs pointed otherwise.  Furthermore, she has shown anger and resentment towards Obama, crying at times with tempers often flaring during debates.    Next will come the bargaining:  I fully assume that she will attempt to make a deal for the Michigan and Florida delegates and possibly try and make a deal with Obama.  I truly hope that Hillary Clinton overcomes the depression of not attaining the nomination and reaches the point of acceptance, so that the Democratic Party can be unified in the fall.  I hope that for the first time in this campaign, Clinton removes that glossed over look on her face, puts on a natural smile, and speaks magnanimously.  I think we heard the beginnings of that valedictory tonight, and by the look on her husband’s face and the thrown together nature of her speech, I think a concession is imminent.
